Musical Heritage

R4 would like to thank the many people who have shown their support with financial contributions. You can help, too! Your charitable donation will support education outreach programs for youth and community programs, community cultural events, and the preservation of an important American music. The River Raisin Ragtime Revue is a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization, and your contribution is tax deductible.

Levels of Contribution

$1 to $99 – Easy Winners
$100 to $249 – Maple Leaf Club
$250 to $499 – Peachrine
$500 to $999 – Elite Syncopators
$1000 and over – Nonpareil

You can also help R4 with tax deductible donations targeting specific needs of the ensemble. We are currently working on acquiring a professional sound system, so that we can bring our music to more communities. Outdoor performances are nearly impossible without reinforced sound, and many communities cannot afford the costs of providing professional sound equipment. Below is a list of specific needs that your contribution can help us meet.

R4 Wish List

  • A pair of high-quality public address speakers and 16 microphones for outdoor community concerts and workshops (speakers are $600 each with stands and travel cases; microphones are approximately $100 each)
  • High-resolution projector for visual presentations during concerts
  • Vintage music (1880s-1920s)
  • Office supplies/stamps
  • Contributions for paying musicians, advertising, halls, etc.!
